I remember when Mommy Lois went to Eastside congregation. When my cousin Tranette and I were little girls we would spend the night at our grandmother's house on the weekends. On Sundays when she would take us to the meetings, we always got to sit on the front row, on the left side of the room, so she could play the piano for everyone to sing the songs to. I remember feeling like my Mommy Lois was a superstar when she played that piano and was!!!
I remember when Sis. Bowman would play the piano for St. Clair congregation. She and Rose Mack would alternate. Then I went to her apartment in Indian Hills and she still had her piano. She would often play kingdom songs whenever she was in the mood. She loved music.
I remember how Sis. Bowman loved her children unconditionally....with all her heart
I remember when Sis. Bowman would still be in the Hall having conversations long after that meeting was over.
I remember when Sis. Bowman would always give her heartfelt comments at the meetings. It was always a pleasure hearing her comments and seeing her smile.
I remember when I met Sis. Bowman, Bridgette, Tarah! Sis Bowman always had a nice smile and she would light up the whole room with her Smile! She was also dainty, sophisticated, and very neat! I know she Loved Jehovah as well!
I remember when I met Sis. Bowman over 40 years ago, she was small and Petite and she remained as such over the years! I admired the way she carried herself!
I remember when I took Sister Bowman a meal, that a group of us prepared, and I delivered it to her, and she was so happy to get it.
I remember going to my grandmother’s house when I was very young. She used to babysit my sister Staci and I while my parents worked. I remember the smell of banana bread and the sense of comfort when we walked in really early in the morning. She would play the piano for us and she was always so sweet and everything a grandmother should be. She was the keeper of all the family pic. When I got older and would visit Mommy Lois, I remember that I spent most of the time taking pics with my phone of the pics that she had. She had so many pictures….so many memories. Mommy Lois we love you and you will forever be in our hearts ❤️
I remember my auntie, because she truly loved our God Jehovah and his Son Jesus Christ! I will remember the love that she shared with all Jehovah people!
I remember when Sis. Bowman's son Kelly Thomas would talk about his beautiful Mom. See you in paradise.
I remember a few years ago when Auntie was to play piano at a talent show for the Nela Park congregation. It was a grand piano it was big and the hood had to be lifted, I didn't want auntie to have to do it, so I went with auntie and helped her, I also stayed to turn the music pages for her, she played so beautifully, I was so proud of her, we looked at each other and shared a special moment with each other I will never forget.
I remember when Sis Bowman played the piano at the Kingdom Hall at Eastside congregation. And at our home when we had dinner as a congregation book study group. She will be missed.
I remember attending the East Side Congregation with Sis. Bowman's children - Sharon, Michelle and the younger children. She was a very loyal sister, always with a beautiful smile to match.
I remember when Sister Bowman was talented, loved music and playing the piano very well.
I remember Sister Bowman as a sweet, soft spoken sister at Eastside who was kind and loving. I would see her throughout the years and it was a hug and a nice conversation. Will be missed
I remember her beautiful warm and friendly smile, along with her stylish & modest flare of dress. John 5:28,29
I remember when Sis. Bowman played the piano at the hall.
Just embrace me
I remember my very BRIEF piano lessons with Mommy Lois(lol). Often times she would watch my brother and I and we would just slam the keys on her piano. She would become frustrated with us and attempt to show us how to play the piano the RIGHT way. She was a pro at it. As kids and at that time, we were just interested in making noise so we didn't appreciate her attempts but as an adult and since her passing, I realize how valuable those moments were and will continue to be.
